San Gimignano Rosso Doc
This is a new product from San Gimignano territory, a DOC wine that was first produced in 1996. It is the result of a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes; the Cabernet is aged in barriques for about 12 months, while the Sangiovese is aged in traditional oak barrels for 12 to 18 months.
Grape Blend: 70% Sangiovese - 30% Cabernet Sauvignon
Alcohol Degree: 12.5%
Colour: Intense, full-bodied red
Aroma: Intense and full-bodied with forest fruit aromas
Flavour: Balanced and rounded, slightly tannic
