Welcome to Tuscany
Fattoria La Torre is a winery near San Gimignano, Italy.
The name “Fattoria La Torre” describes the ancient 10th-century medieval tower, which has been expertly restored. Our Passion
Wine
ORIGIN: San Gimignano from soils of Pliocene marine origin located at 400 ms|m; 15-year-old vineyard with medium-textured soils and rich presence of skeleton BLEND: 100% SAUVIGNON BLAN HARVEST: harvested by hand in small crates HARVEST TIME: early September YIELD PER HA: 50 Q.LI/HA VINIFICATION: Refrigeration of the grapes in boxes at 2°C for 24 hours followed by soft pressing of the grapes. At the end of fermentation, the wine is racked to separate the heavier lees and kept on its lees called “fine or noble” where, with weekly stirring, it will remain for 4 months to give the wine softness and stability.
